Happy Man a psychological horror that follows two opposing perspectives in Frank and Smiles, Frank – faces the brutalism of the real world and Smiles relishes the joy of his world that he deludes himself in. Frank, works hard to provide for his sister, Ellie while facing the oppression of his superiors, Smiles “aids” Frank’s struggles in his own distorted view but will the real world see it in the same way? Smiles admires Frank’s courage to battle through society, however, after Frank’s appointment as manager, he becomes everything he hated leading Smiles to change his opinion of the man he once admired forcing Smiles to act and in doing so, colliding their worlds catastrophically.
