About Patrick Deary
Patrick Deary began his film career in his hometown of New Hampshire, where he began working on as many film sets as he could find. He also worked for a haunted attraction, where he had the opportunity to build sets and props for the attraction, opening his eyes to the horror genre. It was here that he fell in love with horror movies and made the decision to pursue making horror films. While studying film at Emerson College, Patrick worked on many student film sets in the G&E and art departments. In his last year of school, he had the opportunity to intern at Alta Global Media, where he wrote script coverage and was included in discussions about script edits. He was also a part of the judging process for the Oscar-qualifying film festival Hollyshorts. This opportunity was a great insight into the festival process and how many great filmmakers there are in the world. After wrapping up production on his directorial debut short film Reflection, Patrick moved to Los Angeles to further pursue his passion. His film Reflection is currently on the festival circuit, and Patrick is excited to attend festivals and meet other great filmmakers to collaborate with on future projects.
